Executive Director – Oversees all operations and management activities of the Housing Department, including all financial and administrative functions of the Walker River Housing Department and its staff of 21 employees. The Executive Director is responsible for the Indian Housing Block Grant, overall management and development of housing programs utilizing the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA). The Executive Housing Director ensures that the WRHDs mission, goal, and objectives are being met.

Brooke is our receptionist here at the Walker River Housing Department and is available to take calls, work orders, payments, and assist our communities as needed.
Programs/Projects Coordinator: Wilelia Murphy, [email protected]
Currently "Leya" oversees our projects and scheduling, procurement, Elder/Disabled Assistance, Renovation Assistance, Home Improvement Loan Program, Insurance, Rental and Homeownership programs, and is available to answer any questions pertaining to housing programs.
Land Coordinator: Hannamarie Frank, [email protected]
Hannah has joined our department to handle conveyances through BIA or quick claims through tribal courts to ensure our homeowners are able to receive proper documentation to Homeownership. Hannah also oversees our Utility Programs.

Warehouse Clerk: Jeidan Brown, [email protected]
Our warehouse clerks here at housing work to ensure our warehouse remains in stock to provide material to our managed units and residents. Materials can be purchased by community members, as our warehouse serves as a local hardware store. Jeidan and Charles ensure the delivery of wood and pellets offered through our utility programs and are responsible for monthly inventory.
Maintenance Crew: David (Dave) McFalls, Joseph Frank, and Juan Cervantes-Kemper (Maintenance Trainee)
Our Maintenance Crew provides repairs, preventative and routine maintenance on all Low-Rental units as well as miscellaneous daily work orders from individual homeowners and elders throughout the community.
Force Account Crew Supervisor: Michael Lowery
The WRHDs Force Account Crew (FAC) Lead assesses all projects prior to any work being done. The FAC Lead also works with the our Program/Projects Coordinator and Warehouse Clerks to get all materials procured for projects.

Our Force Account Crew (FAC) completes all renovation projects, remodeling projects, accessibility projects, and any new construction projects.
