Executive Director – Oversees all operations and management activities of the Housing Department, including all financial and administrative functions of the Walker River Housing Department and its staff of 21 employees. The Executive Director is responsible for the Indian Housing Block Grant, overall management and development of housing programs utilizing the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA). The Executive Housing Director ensures that the WRHDs mission, goal, and objectives are being met.
Resident Services Specialist: Vacant
Resident Services Specialist – Processes all program applications, following up with appropriate correspondence, and keeps organized files for all managed WRHD Units. Serves as the point of contact between the Walker River Housing Department and the tenant/homebuyer. Provides counseling to tenant/homebuyer in the Low-Rental Program and the Homebuyer Programs. Serves as the point of contact for submitting new applications for insurance and submitting insurance claims for homes. Completes home inspections in the Low-Rental Units, Mutual Help Homes, and Lease-to-Purchase Program

Receptionist – Welcomes and greets the public. Along with other clerical duties, the receptionist takes payments, answers calls and directs calls to different staff.

Housing Assistant – The Housing Assistant fills in wherever needed:
-Coordinates meetings for the WRHD Staff
-General clerical duties
-Develops WRHD Newsletters
-Manages WRHD website
-Assists with community outreach

The Warehouse Clerks:
-Completes monthly inventory.
-Keeps the WRHD Warehouse clean and organized.
-Packages project materials for the Force Account Crews.
-Keeps WRHD vehicles up-to-date on maintenance.
-Delivers truck-loads of wood and bags of pellets to participants in the Elder/Disabled Utility Assistance Program during the season.
Maintenance Crew: David (Dave) McFalls & Joseph Frank
Our Maintenance Crew provides repairs, preventative and routine maintenance on all Low-Rental units as well as miscellaneous daily work orders from individual homeowners and elders throughout the community.
Force Account Crew Supervisor: Michael Lowery
The WRHDs Force Account Crew (FAC) Lead assesses all projects prior to any work being done. The FAC Lead also works with the Purchasing Officer and Warehouse Clerks to get all materials procured for projects.
Our Force Account Crew (FAC) completes all renovation projects, remodeling projects, accessibility projects, and any new construction projects.
